New Episode: Expert Yoga Educator Jeannie O'Neill on Trauma-Informed Kundalini & Meaningful Transformation

After partaking in one of Jeannie's powerful workshops, we sat down to unpack the magic behind the practice.

Hi, Friends!

Back in June, I signed up for Yoga Farm Ithaca’s Kundalini workshop at the Berkshire Yoga Festival led by the incredible teacher Jeannie O’Neill. I was struck by how efficiently the practices we did broke up dense energies and trapped emotions. (I’d been carrying around some myself, and felt so much lighter after the workshop.) I knew I had to talk to Jeannie and pick her brain on how and why these practices work so well—and so this recent podcast episode came to be!

Turns out it was no coincidence that I had this experience in her workshop. Yoga Farm Ithaca takes a trauma-informed approach to Kundalini, and thus creates a container where healing can happen in community. The practices show us that even when our brains might be stuck in old thought loops of suffering, we can start to loosen their grip through the body and energy field.

Whether you’re scratching your head like, what the heck is Kundalini?? or you’re versed in the practices, this conversation has something for everyone who values healing and community
